Wireless Network (WiFi)

Introduction

Wireless Access is available to the organization via the following access SSIDs:

  • PublicWiFi
  • RestrictedWiFi (must request access)

For troubleshooting access connection issues or signal issues, please utilize the procedure below.

For requesting Access to a secure WiFi network, please select Request Access

Procedure

  1. Am I having issues with one website or service or several websites or services? From a web browser try to use www.google.com. If you can it may be that the site you want to use is having issues. Try again later.
  2. Do I have different results between in building/organization location resources and remote resources? From a web browser try to use www.abc.com. Then try www.google.com. If one works and the other does not it helps support understand the scope of the issue.
  3. Please use Report an Issue to report your findings and request assistance.

 

  1. I need to request access to organization's restricted WiFi​​​​​ (Employees Only)
  2. Please request access by selecting Request Access to gain access to Restricted Wifi.

Cost

This is a common-good service offered to faculty, staff and students which means there is no direct cost to the individual or department.
